The cause of retinoblastoma is that the disease is genetic, and individuals with a family history of the disease are more likely to develop the disease.

Treatment of Retinoblastoma

If babies with eye cancer are screened and diagnosed early, the baby's vision can be restored and complications can be prevented.

Treating a baby diagnosed early is convenient and successful.

Eye cancer is treated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery. Therefore, the rate of saving eyes and vision has increased.

Retinoblastoma is a serious disease in which, if not diagnosed early, the cancerous tumor grows and causes glaucoma in the eye, resulting in complete loss of vision. And eventually the eye needs to be removed. Therefore, if this disease is diagnosed at the earliest, then we can save the sight of the eye as well as the life of the patients.

The purpose of celebrating eye cancer week is to spread awareness about this disease in the society and to diagnose this serious disease in children at the earliest and thus help to save their eyesight.
