1. What is DBCS?

DBCS (District Blindness Control Society) is an autonomous registered society established at the district level to implement and monitor eye care services under the National Programme for Control of Blindness & Visual Impairment (NPCBVI).

👉 It acts as the main executing and coordinating body for all blindness control activities in a district.

    Launched: 1976
  • Renamed as NPCB & Visual Impairment (NPCBVI)

    • State Blindness Control Society (SBCS)
