Distance Vision Acuity Chart (6-Meter)
Select a test type for far distance vision using the metric (6/) notation.
REQUIRED DISTANCE: 3 meters (10 feet)
Testing Procedure & Results
1. Setup
- Measure Distance: Position yourself exactly **3 meters (10 feet)** from the screen.
- Cover One Eye: Test each eye separately, ensuring you cover the other eye completely.
- Wear Correction: If you use distance glasses or contact lenses, wear them during the test.
2. Interpreting Results (Metric Notation)
Read down the chart until you can no longer comfortably distinguish the letters on a line.
- If you can read the **6/6** line, your distance vision is considered excellent (equivalent to 20/20).
- If you can only read the **6/30** line, your distance vision is significantly reduced (equivalent to 20/100).
